I have the honour to acknowledge the receipt of your Despatch No 28 of the 30th January enclosing a copy of the Medical Certificate which recommends that Police Constable Myers should be retired from the service on grounds of ill-health, and I approve of his being granted a pension of $100 per annum at the rate proposed as reported in your Despatch No 278 of the 14th Dec last.
